68.5% of the fun of buying a RZR is upgrading it. If you ask any RZR owner they will make a joke about how expensive the accessories are while showing you thousands of dollars worth of them on their machine. Which accessories are necessary and which ones are for show? Let's take a look!
must have accessories
If you go riding for the first time without a half windshield, rear view mirror, and brush guards, there is a good chance you are in for a frustrating trip! These are the three you should start with. Be warned though because they are like tattoos and the instant you get one you will start looking for the next.
It keeps the dirt out of your teeth, the water out of your lap, and the wind out of your face and hands. Even if it is just a "little chilly" you will feel the pain in your fingers without the half windshield. For winter riding, we suggest going full windshield.
Instinct will keep you looking for that mirror and if it isn't there you will get annoyed. Honestly that is the main reason you need one. It will help you see when someone wants to get past you as well so if you are a gawker this will also come in handy.
This is a lesson in saving money. It might not be today but at some point you are going to bump into something. If you have brush guards you won't have to pick up RZR pieces from the ground. Heck yeah.
Wants VS Needs
Beyond the big three, there are tons of accessories that will help with comfort, performance, style, and happiness. Nobody needs these to have a great time but the more you have the more you will be able to do.
