How To Clean Your Motorcycle Chain

WE ARE SWINGING INTO SPRING!

It’s April and this only means one thing! MOTORCYCLES!

Team Winnebagoland has well over 150 used motorcycles for you to test drive and purchase for the riding season! In this video we are going to focus on a key piece of equipment that often gets overlooked before, during and after the riding season.

It doesn't matter if you are looking to purchase a motorcycle or making preparations for your current bike, your chain is something that we want to focus on so we can help you get your motorcycle ready to go and prepped for another season on the road!

WHAT YOU NEED...

In order to start the process of chain care, you will need just three things. A chain brush, chain wax and chain cleaner.

First, you need to make sure the bike's rear tire is elevated. Once this is done you will need to take your brush and run the brush through the whole chain slowly rotating the tire.

Next, spray chain cleaner generously through the chain and let the cleaner sit for a bit. Once the cleaner is on the chain, take your brush and clean the chain. After you use the brush on the chain make sure to wipe the chain down with a clean rag.

Once the chain has been cleaned, take your chain wax and spray through the whole chain. Lower the bike and you are good to go! Don’t forget to make this a routine throughout the season as it will extend the life of your chain and create a more enjoyable ride!

If you are looking to purchase any of these items we have them available as a bundle package for only $35 dollars! Stop into Team Winnebagoland and enjoy our Swing Into Spring Sales Event today!
