In 2015 we decided we needed to add an event to kick off the riding season in style.  We filled up Popp’s Resort and have been riding the trails of Marinette and Oconto County the same weekend in May ever since.  It is a great time to get your “trail legs” back under you and renew old friendships and make new friends at the same time with a fellow group of enthusiasts who are excited to get back out riding.  

For 2024 we will be hosted by the rustic Popp’s Resort & Twin Bridge Resort out of Crivitz.  Your room package includes three nights stay, continental breakfast, lunch on the trail Fri and Sat, dinner Friday night, the send-off dinner party Saturday night, and two full days of guided riding Fri and Sat.

Check-in is Thursday afternoon after 3:00.  You will be on your own to explore the area for dinner that night or pick up something on the way up.  Meet in the parking lot of Rene’s Fri and Sat morning at 9:00 to get ready for a day of riding.  Both days of riding are mostly trail, with a lunch stop at a local establishment included.  Don’t forget snacks and beverages for trailside stops throughout the day.  After a great day of riding Fri, we all get together for dinner.  And after Saturday’s ride, we will also get together for dinner, drinks, and a ton of recapping your stories from the past weekend.  Enjoy your evening, get to bed, wake up and head home Sunday morning.
